LIRN - Gale In Context: College

Gale In Context: College School provides contextual information on a broad range of topics, people, places, and events from Gale’s reference content, full-text magazines, academic journals, news articles, primary source documents, images, videos, audio files and links to vetted websites.

LIRN - Gale OneFile: Business

LIRN - The Economist Historical Archive, 1843-2015

The Economist Historical Archive (‘EHA’) is the fully searchable facsimile edition of The Economist, the weekly paper which is essential reading for anyone engaged in politics, current affairs and all aspects of business and trade worldwide. Containing every issue since its launch in 1843, EHA offers full-color images, multiple search indexes, topic and area supplements and surveys. It is an unrivaled multidisciplinary primary source for researching and teaching the 19th and 20th centuries.

Free, full text, quality controlled scientific and scholarly journals, covering all subjects and many languages.

LIRN - ERIC

Provides a comprehensive, easy-to-use, searchable Internet-based bibliographic and full-text database of education research and information. Includes bibliographic records (citations, abstracts, and other pertinent data) for more than 1.4 million items indexed since 1966, including: journal articles, books, research syntheses, conference papers, technical reports, policy papers, and other education related materials. Currently, more than 650 journals are indexed in ERIC either comprehensively (full content) or selectively (articles that are education-related). Sponsored by the Institute of Education Sciences (IES) of the U.S. Department of Education.

Use MedlinePlus to learn about the latest treatments, look up information on a drug or supplement, find out the meanings of words, or view medical videos or illustrations. You can also get links to the latest medical research on your topic or find out about clinical trials on a disease or condition.

LIRN - Merck Manual - Professional Edition

First published in 1899 as a small reference book for physicians and pharmacists, The Manual grew in size and scope to become one of the most widely used comprehensive medical resources for professionals and consumers. As the Manual evolved, it continually expanded the reach and depth of its offerings to reflect the mission of providing the best medical information of the day to a wide cross-section of users, including medical professionals and students, veterinarians and veterinary students, and consumers.

LIRN - Merck Veterinary Manual

For over 50 years, The Merck Veterinary Manual has been a trusted source of animal health information for students and practicing veterinarians. It contains authoritative guidelines for the diagnosis, treatment, and prevention of animal disorders and diseases. LIRN - PubMed

PubMed comprises more than 21 million citations for biomedical literature from MEDLINE, life science journals, and online books. Citations may include links to full-text content from PubMed Central and publisher web sites.

The IEEE Xplore digital library is a powerful resource for discovery and access to scientific and technical content published by the IEEE (Institute of Electrical and Electronics Engineers) and its publishing partners.

Textbooks in the Open Textbook Library are considered open because they are free to use and distribute, and are licensed to be freely adapted or changed with proper attribution.

Open Education Resources (OER)

Directory of Open Access Journals

DOAJ (Directory of Open Access Journals) was launched in 2003 with 300 open access journals. Today, this independent index contains almost 17 500 peer-reviewed, open access journals
